Contributions are a vital part of Durham Community Land Trustees operational and project development support.  Contributions can be made in a number of different ways, each contributing to DCLT’s ability to remain a viable nonprofit organization committed to creating affordable housing opportunities for low-and-moderate income people. 

Monetary Contributions

Check:

DCLT graciously accepts contributions by check or money order in any amount. Make check payable to:

Credit Card:

DCLT accepts credit card gifts by phone or by mail. Please provide us with your card number, expiration date, amount of gift, and fund to be credited. 

Stock Contributions:

If possible, please relay information about the name of the stock transferred, the number of shares and the current price per share.  Smith Barney will notify us of stock transfer, sell the stock and remit check to DCLT.

In Kind Contributions

Donated Items:

Durham Community Land Trustees happily accepts contributions of household appliances, equipment, building supplies, tools, etc.  We do not accept contributions of food or clothing.  Please contact us by email at programasst@dclt.org or by telephone at 919.490.0063 prior to making a contribution to ensure  that we have a need and adequate storage for your item(s).

Real Estate Contributions:

Durham Community Land Trustees accepts contributions of real property (land, houses, etc.).  To make such a contribution, please contact Selina Mack, Executive Director at 919.490.0063 or selina@dclt.org .
