Make A Difference Day (MADD)
2011!
Make A Difference Day (MADD) is a national day that celebrates neighbors helping other neighbors. From coast to coast many different corporations, communities, and non profit organizations participate in this national event. Each year on the fourth Saturday on October, DCLT brings volunteers from throughout the triangle to Durham’s west end neighborhoods to assist low and moderate-income homeowners with housing improvement and to enhance appeal throughout the community.
  
Durham Community Land Trustees had its first poker tournament fundraiser on Friday, November 11, 2011. The event was held at the Carolina Ale House, Durham, NC.
