CB&E Award Winner

Neighborworks America honored DCLT with a 2016 Community Building & Engagement Staff award.  This award recognized DCLT’s commitment to resident voice and peer learning.

NC Community Development Initiative Award

NC Community Development Initiative now The Initiative awarded DCLT a Certificate of Appreciation on July 29, 2016 for their partnership in working with youth leaders. DCLT helped end homelessness for 4 individuals by Housing for New Hope and was honored in February 2015.

Durham CARES Video with DCLT

In 2011, DCLT helped Tara and her husband Jermaine and three children move to Durham and find a place they could call home after being evicted when Jermaine became ill.  Durham CARES created this video portrait of Tara, Jermaine and longtime DCLT donor, Ethel Simonetti.
