Durham needs DCLT to grow, and We need YOU!

DCLT can be Durham’s solution for permanent affordable housing,
but in order to do that, we need to grow.  What does growth look like for DCLT?

Growth means raising $100,000 (2 years of funding) to hire a full-time bilingual Spanish-speaking Organizer

Growth means raising $2.0 million by 2019 for the Renovate, Not Displace Fund

To Renovate 54 newly acquired homes in East Durham – which is ground zero for gentrification and displacement in the city.  This means paying for leaky toilets, rotted flooring, dilapidated roofing, and faulty electrical work, etc. Your help can prevent a family from having to live in a house with no insulation for another season, or make an apartment with high lead levels safe for the family in residence.

Our Goal is to raise $1 million in 2018 and $1 million in 2019 to rehab the much needed work in Northeast Central Durham.

Donate to the Renovate, not Displace Fund.

Growth
means
increasing General Operating Support

To meet the ever increasing cost of salaries, building costs, insurance and what it takes (in general) to run and grow a nonprofit organization.

Donate to DCLT for General Operating Support.

DCLT is calling on the broader Durham community to join DCLT in making this growth plan happen.

We can grow with your help!
